About the Marathon, Florida Area
From the East end of the 7 Mile bridge(MM)47 to the West end of Toms Harbor bridge(MM)60. Includes, Grassy Key, Coco Plum, Marathon, Key Colony Beach, Marathon, and Stirrup Key. I can also show property in the Lower Keys.
Duck Key
Duck Key is a small islet located at M/M 61 off the Overseas Highway (rt#1)
The island is home to upscale homes as well as Hawks Cay Resort . Most homes are located on clean deep canals. Several properties have spectular direct ocean views with protected dockage. Excellent fishing right out front, as well as several charter boats located on the island.
| Grassy Key
Grassy Key is located between Duck Key and Marathon. It is home to the Dolphin Research Center where you can swim with the dolphins! The key has many dry lot homes. It is also home to Morton Street which has upscale homes directly on the Gulf with spectular views!
| Key Colony Beach
Located at mile marker 53.5 on US highway #1, Key Colony Beach is known as "gem of the Florida Keys". Most residences are on canals with quick access to the Gulf or ocean. There are also resturants,charter boats,small shops, and even a public 9 hole par-3 golf course. Key Colony Beach is a seperate city from Marathon, and has its own police force, city hall, and post office.
| Marathon
Located approximately halfway between Key West and Key Largo, Marathon is truly " The Heart Of The Florida Keys" The population is a little over 10,000 people.
Marathon has a small town feeling, but still has a modern airport, 2 large grocery stores, home depot, office depot, beautiful public beach,several banks,charter fishing, and is home to the famous SEVEN MILE BRIDGE. There is also a modern hospital , schools, libary,county offices,sheriff office, many shops, and plenty of good places to dine.
| Stirrup Key
Stirrup Key is a gated community in Marathon. Fine waterfront homes located on the Gulf. Several properties feature a direct Gulf view and excellent protected dockage. Stirrup Key is very peaceful and private.
